- SubD: For designers who need to quickly learn organic shapes, SubD is a new type of geometry that allows you to create editable, highly accurate shapes. Unlike other geometry types, SubD combines free-form precision while allowing for fast editing.
- QuadRemesh: Quickly create quad mesh from existing surfaces, solids, meshes or SubDs - ideal for rendering, animation, CFD, FEA and reverse engineering.
- Presentation: In Rhino 7, we've improved the presentation tools, streamlining your workflow with a major update to Rhino's rendering engine, so the same look you get in a ray-traced viewport can be rendered without any changes. We've added support for PBR materials, a LayerBook command, and more.
- Improved Rhino: In Rhino 7, we fixed hundreds of bugs, but also added workflow improvements such as named selections, mold making tools, one-line engraving font, and improved interoperability with third-party file formats. Display. We're constantly improving Rhino's display pipeline to keep up with today's graphics hardware. In Rhino 7, some models will render significantly faster on both Windows and Mac.
